Introducing the Hoyt RCRV recurve line, a new beginning in recurve archery.
The RCRV Comp riser and limbs are perfectly suited to those looking for a low cost entry into recurve archery. This is the ideal bow for brand new archers, rapidly growing archers, coaches and clubs looking to keep bows on hand, for advanced archers looking for a training tool, or for those who simply want to try their hand at Olympic Recurve or Barebow archery. Featuring a lightweight riser and four-layer fiberglass and wood limbs, the RCRV Comp series puts archers into a bow that features Olympic caliber geometry and design.
The RCRV Podium takes the next step and is ideal for the intermediate level archer. The RCRV Podium riser has a mass weight suited for a stronger or more experienced archer, with a bridged pocket design to help control flex. The RCRV Podium limbs are a six-layer construction of Carbon, Fiberglass and Maple Wood, creating a higher performing limb that is more well-suited for an archer who is serious about advancing their abilities.
Both RCRC risers utilize Hoyt Grand Prix (ILF) limb fittings, easy to use limb alignment blocks, and are 25” in length.
Both the RCRV Comp and Podium limbs are available in short, medium and long lengths and in poundage options from 20-36lbs (in 2lb increments). For those looking for a more affordable limb option to pair with their Hoyt Formula series riser, the RCRV Podium limbs will also be available in a Formula Limb fitting.
