Celestron HummingBird 9-27×56 ED spotting scope
The name Hummingbird from English means hummingbird . The new Celestron observation telescopes have all the features of these little birds: very small, even microscopic dimensions, great mobility (mobility) and the ability to cover considerable distances in relation to their size. The Celestron Hummingbird telescope can be taken without any problems and at any time, both home and on the longest expedition.
Microscopic observation telescopes use ED glass lenses , thanks to which they had a chance to be created – low-dispersion glass allows you to achieve high image quality without chromatic aberration (bothersome, colored fringes around contrasting objects) even at an extremely short focal length. Such a small focal length, in turn, allows the Hummingbird telescope to be so microscopic that it fits in a hand and in a coat pocket.
Equipped with
a 1.25-inch eyepiece with a variable focal length (zoom) and an adjustable eyecup, it allows you to conveniently adjust the magnification to the currently viewed object. The minimum magnification is only 7-9x , so nothing prevents you from observing it without a tripod and during evening trips, because the image is then extremely bright and clear. This is due to the FMC multi-layer coatings. On the other hand, if higher magnification is needed, thanks to its unparalleled lightness and mobility, a small monopod with a 1/4 inch mount is enough for this scope. The mentioned coatings and ED optics will then provide a perfectly contrasting, clear and colorful image.
The 1.25-inch eyepiece mounting standard from the set allows for easy replacement with other eyepieces of this type, which opens up unlimited possibilities for Humminigbird users to select additional astronomical glasses of the highest quality.
